Description
Located in the Bièvre Valley, this 35-hectare forest estate preserves traces of human presence dating back to prehistoric times. Archaeologists have discovered two stone-knapping workshops from the Montmorencian period, evidence of early human activity on the site.
The estate is also known for its rich natural heritage. It is home to many remarkable trees, remnants of a 19th-century landscaped park, as well as a diverse fauna and flora. Beehives and an orchard further contribute to this preserved environment.
Owned by the Syndicat Intercommunal de l’Amont de la Bièvre (SIAB), the Montéclin Estate is now protected and dedicated to walking and outdoor leisure activities. Several facilities are located on the site, including the Club Canin de la Vallée de la Bièvre, the Brimborion Association Pony Club, and the Ecopark Adventures treetop adventure park.
