Park of the château du Marais

The château du Marais is one of the most majestic estate in Essonne. In this park, we can see the different traces of the centuries that the estate knew. This park is a harmonious mix of water and green.

Description

Its 550 meters long reflecting pool embellishes the landscape and the reflection effects highlights the castle with its Louis XVI architectural style. A museum dedicated to the renowned owners and hosts (Talleyrand, Chateaubriand…) and a horse-drawn carriage hall complete the tour.
