Description
Through a tailored visit, participants discover the historical, social, and political context in which Victor Hugo wrote his work, as well as how he transformed reality into a powerful humanist ideal. Manuscripts, illustrations, and period artifacts help to better understand the novel's scope and the values it champions, such as justice, solidarity, and redemption. This exploration is extended through creative writing exercises centered on the iconic characters of Les Misérables.
