The concept of the Atelier des Jardins Gourmands arose from the observation that an abundance of fruit remained unharvested in individual gardens. So the idea came naturally to take advantage of this over-abundance by suggesting to tree owners that their excess fruit be harvested for them, and transformed into delicious jams, fruit purées and fruit jelly sweets.
The fruit is processed as quickly as possible after harvesting in order to retain maximum taste. The recipes proposed by Sylvie Yannic-Arnoult range from traditional to original, often mixing the fruit with spices or herbs. Her products meet high standards of taste and their sugar content is kept to a minimum to avoid masking the fruit's initial flavour.
Located in Epinay-sur-Orge, the Atelier des Jardins Gourmands strives to produce artisanal fare, using locally-sourced fruit as much as possible and selling the products in Essonne through local distribution channels.
All year round, daily between 10 am and 5 pm.
