Description

The association "House of Alphonse Daudet" highlights the place both by its image, its notoriety and its usefulness in artistic creation and cultural meeting, open to all. Its vocation is also social, because art is intended for all: it is important to involve them in the creation, making them an informed and varied public.
While respecting and preserving this place memory, by raising awareness of the local work made by Alphonse Daudet and his family, we are working to make this place a cultural center, open to all audiences. A place where artists can meet, create, work. Recognized in the world of storytelling, it hosts many French-speaking storytellers and is supported by a strong network of storytellers in Europe, Africa and America.
Today, Alphonse Daudet's house hosts 6 structures: heritage, books, stories, theater and music.
